Board certified in Internal Medicine
Cuban born, Dr. Sergio Menendez-Aponte, has been in private practice in the state of Florida since 1993.
He earned a Medical Doctor degree in 1982 from The National University of Mexico. He completed Clinical Pathology Residency in 1987 at Jackson Medical Center in Miami and in 1990, Dr. Menendez completed the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Good Samaritan Hospital, a facility which is affiliated to John Hopkins University, in Maryland.
That same year he passed the American Board of Internal Medicine for the first time, following certification every ten years.

Dr. Menendez offers comprehensive medical care that encompasses several aspects of medical practice not limited to primary care. He’ll care for his patients not only in his office but also in the hospital, and nursing homes.
In addition, his passion for history and culture has made him a world traveler. He is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, and can carry on conversations in many other languages. This knowledge allows him to transcend cultural boundaries and have a better communication with our Central Florida diverse population. Furthermore, He leads by example, and always tries to convey ways to stay fit and maintain good health.
